The Stations of the Cross are a 14-station devotion that commemorates Jesus Christ’s last day on earth as a man. The 14 stations focus on specific events of His last day, beginning with His condemnation. The Stations have formed part of Christian devotion for many centuries because they offer a particularly vivid way of following in the steps of Jesus on His way to the Cross. The Stations are commonly used as a mini pilgrimage as an individual prays with each station, then moves to the next.

Though the Stations are most commonly walked and prayed during Lent, the prayer walk is available throughout the year for personal reflection.

Stations of the Cross at Starrette Farm Retreat is a permanent outdoor prayer path. You may reserve a day any time of the year to bring your group, staff, family, or friends — on your own or with a facilitator to guide you. Together, you can explore the history and scripture — and share the experience of this sacred remembrance.

What an honor it would be to share this holy space and time with you.
