Centering Prayer Intensive Retreats

Centering Prayer

For the Experienced Centering Prayer Practitioner

Mondays // March 10, June 9 & November 10, 2025

These retreats will facilitate entrance into a more profound level of spiritual practice in an atmosphere of silence and community to encourage a more intimate relationship with God. Our time follows the Snowmass guidelines for a day retreat including six 30-minute Centering Prayer periods a day. The prayer is supported with videos of Fr. Thomas Keating sharing his teachings and/or a teaching by Don Carroll using Cynthia Bourgeault book, Centering Prayer and Inner Awakening.

An existing Centering Prayer practice is a prerequisite for attending this retreat. An established practice of Centering Prayer for at least 6 months is highly recommended. Please read or at least be familiar with Cynthia Borgeault’s book, Centering Prayer and Inner Awakening.

“When I had the chance to visit with Father Keating during a Snowmass ten-day retreat, he encouraged me to find a way to extend the rhythm of the time of my practice. Since then I have found that a daily practice is deeply enriched by an extended-day practice as well as a yearly practice of a week or longer. This day-long retreat will address that intermediate rhythm of giving experienced practitioners the opportunity to settle deeply into the rhythm of their Centering Prayer practice for a day."
